Pamela F. Dear

Brief Biography

Pamela Dear was born in St. Paul, Minnesota several years ago and is finally pursuing her dream to officially collect, organize and disseminate information. In all of her previous careers (three), Pamela has unofficially gathered and distributed the information to any interested parties. Now she is the library media specialist at Baldwin Middle School in Guilford and teaches 5th and 6th graders how to access information. The best part of the job is when the student gasps and looks up with joy and understanding.

In her spare time, Pamela loves to sail, cheer from the sidelines of soccer and lacrosse fields, sing in the church choir and occasionally find an opportunity to read a good book in a sunbeam with a cup of tea.

The formal graduation ceremony to receive the Masters of Library Science and Teaching Certificate is scheduled for May 2004.
